First, if you have a camera, stay out of sight and get as many quality pictures of him as you can (on the property, chopping bolts, etc.)
Next, before confronting him, call the appropriate police department
and inform them that he is on the property, what he is doing
(vandalizing) and that there is a No Trespass Order against him that he
is violating.
After the police have been notified, confront him in a non-provocative
manner. Ask him what he is doing on the property, tell him he is in
violation of the No Trespass Order, that the local police have been
notified, and ask him to leave. DO NOT PROVOKE VIOLENCE!
Next, follow him out to be sure the police do in fact remove him and
that he leaves the property. When the police do show up, ask to have
his pack searched if you feel it contains bolts, hangers or any other
property that is not his.
Lastly, write down - as soon as you can - everything you can
remember about his visit. What he was wearing, time of day, vehicle he
was driving, where he parked, routes he chopped, length of stay, etc. E mail this to
me. And remember, the more information you remember the better.
